Innovated Arts® was founded by South Florida native Johan Alex in late 2005. As a senior in college, Alex began offering his services free of charge to small businesses in exchange for experience. His work generated such great praise and feedback that he decided to give entrepreneurship a try. The company began with just one contract for one single project. In less than twelve months, the company had eleven clients, each with multiple projects.
